This year we’re doing Pi Wars again! After coming 6th last time, we have a lot of improvements we’d like to make.
This time around we’re far more prepared – we have a clear plan and vision of the final robot. We’re making a few small changes to the chassis, creating a mount for the camera, and creating a outfit looking like an iron for the theme of being at home.
So far, we have designed the Chassis, and planned out our approach to each of the challenges, along with picking the parts and accessories for the robot, including colour detection through OpenCV and Python, and using a camera for line sensing, along with (hopefully) some infrared distance sensors.

This week we have almost finished with an audio detection system to recognise different frequencies to call commands for the Up the Garden Path challenge. We also finished designing the shell for the robot and will be making that soon.
